Small-group classes built around real everyday life: meeting neighbors, running errands, making plans, work and time with friends. With teachers from Latin America, one evening a week.
What you'll be saying as you level up
1¿Me da un kilo de tomates, por favor?Could I have a kilo of tomatoes, please?

As lovers of Latin American culture, we know how much it means to all of us, and we bring it into every class. ¡Sabor!
Life happens. If you miss a class, catch up with that week's materials on our platform and a short make-up role play. You never fall behind.
Practical, community-centered Spanish, tailored to your level. The live class is for speaking; short activities before and after it do the rest. Plan on about 2.5 hours a week in total.
A short, real text or video and the week's 15 new words and expressions, on our platform.
Speaking tasks every class, and role plays in everyday situations with neighbors, coworkers and friends.
A short task to use what you learned, plus quick reviews so it sticks.
Just 4–6 students, so you get personalized feedback and lots of speaking time.
Each level ends with a capstone: a longer role play that shows what you can do. No written exam.
Complete beginners start at Ready, Set, Spanish! 1. Already speak some Spanish? A friendly 10-minute chat places you in the right level.
Five stages with two levels each. Every level lasts 12 weeks, so you level up about every three months.
By the end, you can: greet neighbors, shop and order food, ask for directions, talk about your routine, family and home, chat about the weather, explain basic health needs, and ask for small favors.
By the end, you can: tell what you did last weekend or on a trip, describe how things used to be, sort out a problem with a service, make plans and reservations, give simple instructions, and share tasks.
By the end, you can: say what you hope, doubt and feel, explain small accidents without blaming anyone, give kind feedback, set conditions, and take part in school and community conversations.
By the end, you can: negotiate a deal, calm a disagreement, say no nicely, talk about past decisions, pass on what others said, and follow speakers from Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Spain.
By the end, you can: banter and tell a good story, joke and tease, understand slang, talk movies and fútbol, argue for fun, give advice between friends, and make a toast.
Stages are aligned with the Common European Framework (CEFR). Completing all ten levels takes a committed learner to about B1, with exposure to B2.

You can track your attendance and class status on the platform. If you miss a class, review that week's materials on the platform and do a short 15-minute make-up role play with a classmate or your teacher the same week.
Week 11 of every level is a capstone: a longer role play that brings the whole level together, like a full Saturday of errands or a dinner with friends. Week 12 is a recovery week to polish anything you need before you level up.
Your teacher looks at five things (getting it done, grammar, vocabulary, politeness, and keeping the conversation going) and scores each from 1 to 4. A 3 means you've met the goal; mistakes are fine as long as people understand you. Each week also ends with a 5-minute check on the platform, and your can-do checklist shows when you're ready for the next capstone.
After each class, scan the QR code provided in class to share anonymous feedback. It helps us keep improving your experience.
I'm a Spanish teacher from Colombia who loves building fun, engaging and culturally rich learning spaces. I also teach in the Dual Language Immersion program at Driggs Elementary School in Driggs, Idaho. Latanish began as a personal project a few years ago, and we're still going strong, welcoming new Spanish learners every session. I'd love for you to join us.
